Wexford Strategies - HBW Resources was proud to be a sponsor for the first ever CareerSource Florida Board Meeting and Day at the Capitol in Tallahassee this past week.
CareerSource Florida is the state workforce development agency for the State of Florida. It was previously known as Workforce Florida until February 10th of this year.
Kevin Doyle, Managing Partner for Wexford Strategies and Executive Director for Consumer Energy Alliance of Florida was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors for CareerSource Florida in 2012.
According to the latest CareerSource Florida news release:
"On Feb. 10, the state's workforce policy and investment board, Workforce Florida, became CareerSource Florida. Each of the state's 24 regional workforce organizations and nearly 100 career centers also now uses the new brand with regional identifiers. For example, WORKFORCE plus, which assisted job seekers and businesses in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties, is now CareerSource Capital Region; The Center for Business Excellence is now CareerSource Flagler Volusia; and Workforce Alliance is now CareerSource Palm Beach County. "
